The name Cup19 carries a very special meaning. It was chosen in memory of Haris, who sadly passed away at the age of 19 after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. For his 19th birthday, Haris raised over £20,000 for DKMS UK, a charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer.
In his honour, his family created the HH 1843 Foundation, which continues to support teenagers affected by cancer through sport. You can read more about their work here
Although Cup19 is now under new ownership, we remain proud to carry forward the name and the story behind it. The number 19 will always be a reminder of Haris’s legacy and the positive impact he made.
Come and see us at Cup19 in Farsley and discover a warm welcome, great coffee, and a place to call your own.
